Weight Lifting Tips - Weight Lifting Technique
By Jason Taingahue Let me give you a few of my favorite weight lifting tips and then let me explain to you a few weight lifting techniques that can help you in the gym.
First of all these weight lifting tips are my favorites and can help anyone else in the gym, so go on, go ahead and read these weight lifting tips that I have for you. And make sure that you read both of them properly.

Spotters
For the first of the weight lifting tips that I am going o give you, we are going to talk about spotters and what they do and also what there purpose is. A spotter is someone that is there to assist you with your weight lifting. They are there to give you the motivational support to lift the weight when you think you are nearing the end of your set of lifts. For instance let's take the bench press, in this situation the spotter stands behind that of the person who is lifting the bench and counts the repetitions that the exerciser is doing and when the exerciser gets to the point where he or she can't lift anymore, this is where the spotter comes in. With the spotters hands under the bar for assistance he eggs the lifter on and gives very light hand assistance if need be and uses vocal instructions to get the lifter to lift. Use things like "1 more" or "let's go, you can do it". This is the sole purpose of the spotter.

Use of weights
The next of our weight lifting tips is the use of weights and this is an easy one to understand as well. When you use a given weight on the bench press or anything like that, make sure that you put it away. And make sure that you save enough energy to put it away as well. I mean imagine someone never put a weight away on a machine that you wanted to use and you only had limited time in the gym. Put the weight away, you earn respect in a gym for doing such an easy task.
Now that you have some weight lifting tips, let's take a look at 2 important weight lifting techniques. Remember that these are techniques and not tips.
The first of the weight lifting techniques is very simple and involves picking up any weight in the gym. To do this sort of technique all that we do when going to pick up any given weight is bend the knees and grab the weight and then when you raise the weight to pick it up, you use the quadriceps or the front of the leg to slowly drive the weight up. This technique is the only weight lifting technique to use in the gym because it saves your lower back and helps to develop more strength in the quadriceps.
The next of the weight lifting techniques that I am going to tell you about is the correct bench press technique. To some of the weight lifting techniques of the bench press, take the bench press at a normal shoulder width grip and lift it off the supporters on the bench. Now the weight lifting techniques for the bench press are as follows. Contract the abdominal muscles as you lift the weight and keep them contracted and also push your lower back into the bench with your legs cross legged in the air. This gives you total support through out the entire movement of the bench press.
Well try these weight lifting tips and weight lifting techniques in your gym. These are methods that I follow every day that I am in the gym.
