Maybe you suffer from sleep deprivation and need to learn what the symptoms are of such a thing. And in addition to learning what the symptoms are to sleep deprivation, you can learn what the effects of lack of sleep are. In this article I am going to go into brief details regarding both concerns. In the first part of the article I will explain to you the symptoms of sleep deprivation and how to recognize the symptoms of sleep deprivation, and then in the second part to the article I will detail what the effects are of lack of sleep.

Symptoms of Sleep Deprivation:
There are a few symptoms of sleep deprivation that you can keep an eye out for (so to speak) and hopefully recognize before serious effects from lack of sleep begin to get to you and cause you some problems. Some very obvious symptoms of sleep deprivation can include: fatigue, extreme tiredness, lack of energy, and exhaustion. All of these symptoms can cause you major problems with many aspects of your day to day life and activities you need to be able to function properly at doing. When you deprive yourself of sleep, your body goes into a tired state and at a certain point of deprivation will fail to function adequately for you to get through your days. These symptoms of sleep deprivation can cause lack of attention, the inability to be constructive and the inability for your mind to think rationally. These sleep deprivation symptoms can also cause emotional stress and related problems. As a whole, the symptoms I have mentioned which can indicate you suffer from sleep deprivation can make you feel very run down, which in turn can make you very ill, both physically and mentally.

Effects of Lack of Sleep:
There are many effects on our body and our way of thinking due to lack of sleep. Other effects from lack of sleep may include: premature aging, hallucinations, and believe it or not, lack of sleep can cause severe effects such as death in rare cases.

The effects our bodies suffer due to lack of stress can take their toll very quickly and can cause dangers in our every day movements. If we suffer from lack of sleep, we can therefore be placing ourselves and others in danger, as some of the effects of lack of sleep include things that we need to have to function safely on a daily basis. We need to have awareness of our surroundings and what is going on around us. When we are out and about driving in the car, we need to make sure we have enough energy to stay alert and stay safe on the roads. If we are suffering effects due to lack of stress, we are a danger to ourselves and others, and can very well become the cause of an accident. Lack of sleep can cause effects on children of parents who suffer from lack of sleep. This is simply because the parent/s are suffering effects of their own due to lack of sleep which will prohibit them in functioning adequately as a parent, therefore hindering the responsibilities as a parent. So lack of sleep will not only cause effects on the bodies of those that do in fact lack sleep, but also those around and in the lives of the lack of sleep sufferers will feel the effects of lack of sleep.

Now that I have given you some brief details on the symptoms or sleep deprivation and the effects you can suffer from lack of sleep, evaluate your own sleeping patterns and see if you need to make adjustments in any way or form to limit or eliminate any of the effects or symptoms of sleep deprivation/lack of sleep in your life.
