First of all let's take a look at a muscle building diet. A muscle building diet is one where you want to build muscle. All food that is eaten in a muscle building diet has a specific purpose and has important nutrients that are entered into the body through the consumption of food. The more important of those 2 foods in a muscle building diet is carbohydrates and protein. The carbohydrates supply the energy in a muscle building diet. This is energy that is needed for lifting weights or running or anything that involves moving large number of muscles at one time. The protein in a muscle building diet is used for the repair work. When you workout the muscle is actually broken down. We need the protein which contain amino's that come into the body and start rebuilding the broken down muscle tissue to make it stronger once it has been rebuilt again.

Here is a muscle building diet below and beside each food I have put weather they are carbohydrates or proteins so that you can see the balance in a muscle building diet. All vegetables and fruits contain vitamins and mineral in them, which are essential for the bodies well being.

As you can see there is a serving of protein and a serving of carbohydrates in each meal. This is in place so that there is a balance. And also we have a muscle building shake in there too, which you're probably wondering, what is a muscle building shake? A muscle building shake is actually a muscle building supplement, which now brings us to the question what is a muscle building supplement? A muscle building supplement is a pill or powder that has all the nutrients a in it that you get from food. The difference is that the supplement is ready by either adding milk or water or by taking a pill. This is a time saver for all busy people. Imagine the time you would save, instead of preparing 5-6 meals.
