There are a few strategies to being able to manage anger. If you find you are in a situation where you feel you are irritated, annoyed or getting angry and are unsure of you will react to those in the scenario, it is advisable to either suggest you talk about the issue later after you have both calmed down (if people involved), or if the circumstance is right, back away and remove yourself from the situation completely for a short time. This will give you the space to manage your anger and be able to calm down and reflect on what has caused you to feel anger in the first place. However in some circumstances, it is not advisable to completely remove yourself from a situation, as you could in fact be making the situation worse and sometimes irreparable.
