Food To Gain Weight - Weight Gain Diet

By Jason Taingahue
Do you know what food you need to gain weight? Have you got a weight training diet that you can follow? If the answer is no to both of these questions, then read on and I will explain to you how you can conquer these feats and teach you how to eat food to gain weight and the right food sources too.

First of all I will give you a food list that you can use to gain weight and then I will give you a run down on a weight training diet and then give you a weight training diet that you can follow as well.

If your soul purpose is to gain weight then there is no one particular food that you can eat but there are a lot of various foods that you can eat to gain weight and they come in the forms of carbohydrates and proteins. Carbohydrates being the main part of our diets and protein being the repairing mechanisms for broken down muscle tissue during an exercise session.

The general rule is to consume as much carbohydrates as you can in 5-6 meals every 3 hours. The protein should always remain the same at about 2 grams of protein per kilo of body weight. Don't bother about worrying too much about saturated fats as well. A little extra body fat won't hurt you either. Here is a list of foods to gain weight.

Carbohydrate food sources, bananas, apples, potatoes, breads, pasta, oats and pineapples.
Protein food sources, egg whites, chickens, lean beef, tuna and lentil beans
Have one portion of protein in every meal and as much carbohydrates as you want in each meal as well. Make sure that you also drink at least 2 liters of water a day too. And make sure that you write down everything that you eat in a sensible weight gain diet, which I will explain next.

A weight gain diet is exactly that. A diet that will help you to gain weight. There are so many different types of weight gain diets out there that you can follow and if you keep reading on, I have two daily diets that you can follow. In a weight gain diet if you just want to put on weight, then I wouldn't bother worrying about eliminating all the saturated fats out of the diet. That doesn't mean to say that you go out and get carried away and eat as much saturated fat as you can. Sensible little amounts of saturated fats are that you need.

Also you can get some weight gainer shakes that they sell at health stores for at least three of your meals too. Weight gainer shakes are the same as a meal, but in powder form that you mix with milk. Saves time and in most cases a lot of money too. Food substitute is another name for weight gainer shakes.

Below are a couple of daily weight gain diets that you can follow or you can manipulate these diets to suit your own needs if you want

Weight gain daily diet food intake 1
6am 6 egg whites, rolled oats with skim milk, 5 pieces of bran toast
9am Weight gainer shake
12am 4 tuna sandwiches with salad and 3 bananas
3pm weight gainer shake
6pm 4 baked potatoes filled with chicken, salad and 3 pieces of pumpkin
9pm weight gainer shake and 2 bananas

Weight gain daily diet food intake 2
6am Big can of baked beans
9am Weight gain shake
12am Pasta with pasta sauce and tuna and egg whites in it
3pm weight gain shake, 4 bananas
6pm grilled chicken, salad, baked potatoes and sour cream in them
9pm weight gain shake

Well there go your two diets that I have written out for you. I hope that this helps you to gain weight, because I know that I have for me and a few others as well. Good luck and happy eating. And enjoy your food, it doesn’t have to be bland food and if it is then you need to re look at your diet and your daily food intake again.
