Fitness Health Tips - Walking For Weight Loss

We can go through some fitness health tips and I can even give you a good old run down on walking for weight loss as well, which is a very good way to lose weight.
First of all, let's take a look at some fitness health tips. I will give you three of my favorite fitness help tips and then we will delve into the world of walking for weight loss.

Water
The first of the fitness health tips is going to be about water. Water is so important to the health. A person in general needs at least 2 liters of water a day and a person who is in the gym working out, may need a little bit more. Water keeps your body hydrated, which is very important for the health. When you feel thirsty, drink water. Do not hold back, listen to your body.

Warm ups and warm downs
The next of the fitness health tip sis the warm up and the warm down. The warm up is where a person engages in exercise that very gradually raises the heart beat and warms the body for the main part of his or her routine. To warm up, you start of by just simply waling on the spot slowly and gradually picking up the pace until there is a little bit of perspiration coming from the head. Once this happens, you know that you are appropriately warmed up. The warm down is the opposite of the warm up. This is the last part of the exercising routine and involves a gradual decrease in intensity over 5 minutes so that the body returns to a normal state and the blood flow is back to normal as well.

Stretching
This is the last of our fitness health tips and it will be about stretches. After the warm up and the warm down, full body stretches should be done. Stretches increase the range of motion that a joint can move, giving the muscle more elasticity and allowing greater development of the muscle it self.
Let's take a look at walking for weight loss now.
Walking for weight loss is probably a great past time for all people, especially for women, they love to walk. So what is walking for weight loss and how do I go about walking for weight loss??
Walking for weight loss is exactly that. You walk at a certain pace and you lose weight, being fully aware that a low fat diet must be used for the results to be maximal.
When you are walking for weight loss, first you need to do a warm up and then stretch which I have mentioned above in my health tips. You must also make sure that you have some very comfortable clothing and some good walking shoes as well. Best time to walk is first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and if you are a beginner then aim to walk for 20 minutes three times a week first.
Walk at varying paces, like fast and slow or fast, slow medium and record your efforts in a diary too. If it feels like it is getting easier then increase the time or increase the pace of the walking. And remember to record that as well.
Take a friend with you when walking for weight loss so that you do not get bored or at least take a walkman if you are by yourself and make sure that you have some motivational music as well. Good luck with your weight loss.
