If you want to lean more about the effects stress can have on your body or stress and hair loss, you are at the right place.
So pull up a chair and have a read. I will cover this article in two segments. The first segment will include information about the effects stress can have on the body and the second segment will contain information on hair loss and how it is related to, or can be related to stress.
Effects of Stress on the Body:
Stress can have many varying effects on the human body. A common effect that stress does in fact have on the body is fatigue. Yes - stress can be and more often than not, is very tiring. Other effects that stress can have on the body can range dramatically. Anxiety may set in, or even depression. These two effects are not in themselves good and need to be sorted as soon as possible as these effects can lead to more serious effects. Other effects stress can have on the body can include a variety of aches and pains, numbness and sometimes panic attacks. It is now also believed that Irritable Bowel Syndrome is in fact an effect of having stress in your life. Stress is in fact an injury to health and does need to be cured in the best possible way as quickly as possible. Constant effects of stress on the body can lead to severe depression, which in some cases can sadly lead to death. Yes, unfortunately some people who suffer from stress and either do not recognize the symptoms of stress or the effects stress is having on their body end up no longer coping, and can commit suicide. This to them at the time, appears to be the easiest way to relieve all of their stress. This by far world have to be the worse case scenario of effects that stress can have on the human body. Our mind is part of our body, so therefore stress can also have major effects on this part of us as well. Such a loss to something that could have been relieved if given the chance early on.
Stress and Hair Loss:
Many people may be wondering why they are losing their hair, and if in fact there is a genuine cause for this hair loss. In fact, stress can be a cause for hair loss. If you are suffering from hair loss, this is a sign that your body is off balance for one reason or another - more often than not, this is due to some form of stress. Weight loss dieters coming off a diet and even women who have just given birth are considered to be under some form of body stress, so therefore are prone to some hair loss. Stress will in fact make your hair follicles stop growing, and will place them (so to speak) into a resting situation. Once you have identified your stress source and found some for m of stress relief, you will begin to notice that your hair loss has stopped and that your hair is in fact growing again. So given that stress can be a temporary condition (as long as you diagnose it and relieve it), hair loss related to stress will also be a temporary condition. Other stressful situations may also cause hair loss, such as: Family grief, a death, an accident, or maybe even abuse. All of these things and situations are seen as being stressful, so therefore could create stress in you, which in turn may create hair loss.
The thing to remember if you notice hair loss which could be related to stress, is not to stress further. You need to find a relief for the stress, not make it worse.
And above all else, if you think you recognize some these effects of stress on your own body, do something about it, the sooner, the better!
