Drug addiction and drug abuse is becoming more and more an excepted part of peoples lives all around the world. As sad and as true as a drug addiction and drug abuse is, these facts stand to tell for them selves and sometimes in a few cases it can become to late for a person to be bought back from a serious drug addiction or a drug abuse. Symptoms of Drug Abuse
So how can you tell if someone has a drug addiction or some sort of drug abuse? The way that we identify a drug addiction symptom or a drug abuse symtpom is to look for various signs such as a change in attitude or bloodshot eyes all the time from smoking marijuana or taking a drug that is most commonly used these days which is "P". Some other drug addiction symptom or drug abuse symptoms that can be noticed is not eating and also another common symptom that can be noticed with any kind of drug addiction is the person staying awake for hours on end, even days without sleep is not uncommon in a drug user and can be a symptom easily recognized. If you cannot tell that the drug abuse user has been awake for days at a time, just look at there face, there complexion will resemble that of a zombie. Changing eating habits is also another common symtom of a drug abuser.

If you know someone who has a drug addiction or has some sort of drug abuse through some of the symptoms that you have noticed then please be careful on how you approach them because they can be very on edge if they have not had there fix for the day and they may even get very aggressive too. So just please handle with care, or the best thing that you could do if you wanted to help someone who has a drug addiction is to seek help from a professional, such as a councilor. Ask them what you can do to help this person who has a drug addiction because you don't want them going way over the edge.

Other ways of helping people that abuse drugs or have a drug addiction is to check out some local rehabilitation centers after you have noticed a person suffering from symptoms relating to drug abuse. Just in case they need some time to dry out so to speak or another term is for recovery from drugs that they have been taking, this maybe the hardest way for someone to over come a drug addiction, but if the symptoms are there to say that they need professional help, then it would be the best thing for them. If this is the method that needs to be used because of someone who has a drug addiction or drug abuse them be sure that there are a lot of support parties around to help them on there recovery program, this is also part of the recovery process as well.

Well I hope that this document gives you sense of how to tell if somebody has a drug addiction or some sort of drug abuse. As I have pointed out about with some of the symptoms, you should be able to tell how hard they are on the drugs and if you need to, then talk to someone about it. Just be sure that if you are going to do this and they need to be put into a rehabilitation clinic that they may not be very happy with you for a while, but in time if they fully recover, they will see what you have done is right and in their own best interest.

Just remember that your help for someone who has a drug addiction, could be the difference in the kind of lifestyle that they lead, they do need your help, whether they like it or not. So being able to recognize a symptom of drug abuse can in fact save a persons life. Just hunt for the symptom that could change there lives from your obsevation of there drug addiction. And use any sympton as a sympton that could cause them harm in the end for your assessment.
