By Leeanne Utiger
Depression and anxiety caused by depression need to be controlled one way or another. This article will go into a little detail about medication for depression anxiety as well as exercise also used for depression anxiety. both medication and exercise can help control and alleviate the symptoms of depression and the anxiety that depression can cause with it. I will break the article up into two parts. First I will explain a little about medication for the anxiety caused by depression, and secondly I will explain a little about exercise for anxieties caused by depression and how exercise can benefit a depression sufferer.

Medication for Depression Anxiety:
Many people who suffer from anxiety caused by depression are not diagnosed. However diagnosis of depression and the anxiety depression can cause is of utmost importance. Only once a diagnosis is made of a person have anxieties brought on by depression can medication be prescribed. Medication for depression anxiety can only be successfully be prescribed by a qualified and registered physician. So if you feel you are suffering from anxieties brought on by a level of depression, I suggest you schedule an appointment with your family physician and request he or she prescribe you the appropriate medication to help you control or alleviate your anxieties and depression. There are varying medications that a physician can prescribe for a person who has depression and anxiety. Medication is prescribed solely on an individual basis and is determined after an examination of the depressive sufferer has been concluded.

An anti-depressant medicated drug will more than likely be prescribed for a sufferer of depression and the anxieties attached to depression. It depends on the level of your depressive and anxiety state as to how high a dosage of prescribed anti-depressant medication is given. You must always bear in mind your level of depressiveness and the level of the anxiety that you suffer. You may be able to alleviate these two things yourself using other means if what you are suffering is very mild. Medication used for depression and anxiety can have side effects which you may not want to endure, especially if you are not highly depressed in the first place. Sometimes it is advisable to try other methods to alleviate and control a depressed state of mind, while at the same time controlling any anxieties you may also be suffering from.

Exercise for Depression Anxiety:
As an alternative to using prescribed medication for treating depressive anxieties, you can try using exercise as a way to alleviate and control depression anxiety. Exercise is good for anyone and every bodies health any way. If you introduce exercise in to your daily routine you may find that you can alleviate and control any depression and anxiety.

It is said that 30 minutes of exercise at least 6 times a week can help with mild depression and anxiety. This has got to be better than placing chemical drugs in form of medication into ones body if the need is not there. Exercise brings about a state of an 'endorphin high'. If you stick to this exercise routine, exercise will provide a more enhanced state of mind and emotional mood. Exercise can make a person feel rejuvenated and refreshed, therefore exercise will do the same for anyone who has a mild case of depression with signs of anxiety.

In saying all of that about medication and exercise for depression and anxiety, you can if you feel you need to, combine both medication and exercise together to combat and fight against depression and anxiety. It is always advisable to speak to your family physician if you are feeling completely depressed and have a lot of anxieties attached to the depression. Your health is very important, and you must look after it, not only for your sake and benefit, but of those around you as well.
