Clinical Depression Symptom - Sign Of Clinical Depression
By Leeanne Utiger In this article I am going to get into some information on the symptoms of clinical depression and what they are. It is highly advisable that you know how to recognize the signs and symptoms and signs of clinical depression, so that if any one of your family members or close friends show these signs or symptoms of clinical depression you can then act on them, and hopefully help them receive the appropriate medical treatment they will need to help keep their clinical depression under control and possibly alleviate it.
The most obvious sign and symptom of clinical depression is obviously constant sad and unhappy emotions and state of well being. Often a person who has clinical depression will show symptoms such as, being withdrawn, not wanting to interact with other people at all, have sudden outbursts of manic episodes, erratic mood swings. The last symptom I mentioned relating to clinical depression is when a person who has clinical depression can appear to be in a very angry, even abusive state of mind, and then within a split second be extremely loving towards the person or people they had been abusive to.
Symptoms of clinical depression can often last for many months, and if the symptoms of clinical depression are not recognized early enough, then the symptoms can at times be overlooked completely, therefore making symptoms of clinical depression being a permanent occurrence in a persons life, which then can cause sever repercussions and consequences to that person.
There are many symptoms and signs to be recognized of a person actually possibly suffering from clinical depression. However a sufferer of clinical depression does not have to be showing ALL symptoms and signs of clinical depression to actually be diagnosed as having clinical depression. Some other symptoms and signs of clinical depression that I have not mentioned above can include:
Lack of enthusiasm
Sleep disorders of one kind or another
Loss of interest in any hobbies the person with clinical depression may have once being interested in
Feeling worthless and hopeless
Lack of interest in sexual intercourse
Loss of memory
Irritability
The symptoms and signs of clinical depression have to be observed and recognized for a while as being consistent. Then once you think you have recognized these signs of clinical depression in a person, you should approach them about your concerns or speak to someone else that is also close to the person who may possibly be suffering from clinical depression and ask them for their input as well. It is of utmost importance that a person who has clinical depression gets medical attention and the appropriate treatments and medication as soon as possible. Clinical depression is a mental illness and it can kill...!
