Anxiety Stress Symptom - Stress Reduction Technique
By Leeanne Utiger Many people suffer from anxiety and stress at any given time. Stress and anxiety attacks or bouts are brought on by many varying aspects of life situations that may arise. However the main thing is being able to see the symptoms of anxiety and know some techniques for stress reduction. If you recognize the symptoms of anxiety and stress, you can then treat them using techniques to reduce the full blast of major stress of an anxiety attack.
In this article I will explain to you in brief detail about stress reduction techniques and what some symptoms of anxiety actually are. Because I am going into two different topics, I will split the article in to two segments. The first segment will be about recognizing and knowing what the symptoms are of anxiety, and the second segment within the article will cover brief detail on what a stress reduction technique is. If you think you need to learn how to recognize symptoms of anxiety or maybe need to learn some stress reduction techniques, then feel free to read this article further.
Symptoms of Anxiety Stress:
There are a few symptoms of anxiety stress that you should be able to recognize rather easily. However you always need to have a reasonably conscious awareness of yourself and how your emotions and feelings normally are, and how much you can take before you begin to feel like things are getting on top of you. If you can recognize this, then you are half there to recognizing possible symptoms of anxiety stress.
You can suffer from both emotional and physical symptoms when you suffer from anxiety stress. Some symptoms can include: feeling lethargic, having little or no energy, even unexpected bleeding in women (this is because stress of any kind can play havoc with women hormones, (which can in turn cause out of cycle bleeding). This is an easily recognizable symptom of possible anxiety stress, or in the very least something else that may be going on that shouldn't be that could in turn lead to anxiety stress. So it is always best to have this sort of symptom checked out at the local doctor anyway.
Other symptoms that can maybe point to anxiety stress are: strained communications with others, either in the workforce or within a personal relationship. You may be easily irritated than what you normally would be. This is also a possible symptom of having anxiety stress. Other symptoms can include: general feeling of being unwell, the inability to focus on anything for too long, lack of attention to detail. All of these and the symptoms I mentioned above can be possible symptoms pointing to anxiety stress. So take a step back and evaluate how your life is going and whether you are feeling or behaving in a way that you wouldn't normally. If you are, you may be suffering from anxiety stress.
Stress Reduction Technique:
There are a few stress reduction techniques you can place into action to reduce the stress you suffer from. It all depends on what you are prepared to do and what you think is best suited to you. Stress reduction techniques can vary from common daily exercise, (which we all know is good for us anyway), to playing a stress relief game. These are both stress reduction techniques.
However most successful stress reduction techniques involve slow, deep breathing for a period of at least 2 - 3 minutes at a time. When you put your deep breathing stress reduction technique into play, you also need to make sure you clear your head and mind of any feelings or thoughts that may be intruding and interfering, causing stress of any level in the first place. You must always relax and concentrate on nothing. In using this technique, you will begin to feel calm and more in control of yourself.
Another simple stress reduction technique is to keep a journal. Keeping a journal will help you to get all of your thoughts and feelings out, therefore preventing you from bottling all of them up. Bottling things up inside of your head is never any good for anyone and can in fact cause an amount of stress. You need to free your mind of all thoughts and feelings on a regular basis.
Try taking a nice hot bubble bath to relax as a stress reduction technique. This is very soothing and also very enjoyable. You can also use calming music as a stress reduction technique. Put on some soothing, calming music as you go to bed and drift off to sleep at the sound of it.
I have given you a few details about a number of stress reduction techniques. If you feel you need to put some of these stress reductions techniques into place, then do so. But bear in mind, you cannot attempt these stress reduction techniques just once. Give yourself a good time frame to use these stress reduction techniques before you make up your mind whether they are in fact reducing your stress levels or not. If these stress reduction techniques do not appear to be reducing your stress levels, I then suggest that you schedule an appointment with your local or family doctor and discuss your stress levels with him or her. He or she will be able to then advise you further on the matter and tell you what stress reduction techniques are best suited to you and why.
